The Electrical and Electronics Skills Department, in association with the Electrical Club, conducted a workshop on Electrical Energy Conservation. The workshop was held on Wednesday 12/20/2017 in which 27 students participated.

The objective of this workshop is to expose students on the significance of conserving electrical energy in many regards and raise their awareness. In conclusion, students were introduced to how electricity is generated in the Kingdom, the economic and environmental impact of using fossil fuel to generate electric power, approaches to conserve electric power, and how to calculate their total electric consumptions as well as their electric bills. In addition, brochures on best practices to conserve electricity were distributed.
