Information
  • Plates may be Tacked in Any Position.
  • Tacks not To Exceed 15 mm. in length.
  • No back braces to support plates (tacks to be on bottom & top of coupons.
  • No Run-on And Run-off Plates.
  • Root stop/start must be in allocated area (to be marked prior to welding.
  • face stop/start must be in allocated area (to be marked prior to welding).
  • plates to be assessed and stamped with I.D. No. prior to welding (Alignment &fit up).
  • Grinding Is Not Permitted On the Final Surfaces (All Tasks).
  • No Back-Grinding & Back Welding.
  • Assessment Will Be Visual And Bend Test.
