JTI Toastmasters Club student members won  four trophies at the Joint Area level Speech Contests held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Al-Hussan School Hall, Jubail Industrial City. The participants demonstrated their excellent public speaking skills in four categories of public speaking (Prepared speech, Table Topics speech,  Evaluation and Humorous Speech) There were 8 contestants in each category representing 6 clubs – SAFCO, Sipchem, Elite, Elite Stars, S-Chem and JTI. Commitment, consistent hard work coupled professional mentoring helped the club reap enormous results.

1.     Waleed Al-Malki  – Second runner up  in International Speech Contest

2.     Hassan Al Saif –  Second runner up in Table Topics Speech Contest

3.     Mohammed Al Shahri  –  Second runner up in Humorous Speech Contest

4.     Mr. Nasir Ali  –  Second runner up in  Speech Evaluation Contest

The other participants who facilitated the event and demonstrated their leadership skills were Dr. George and Mr. Asif Ali Khan, Mr. Hakeem Olafemi and about ten students. In summary, JTI  made its presence felt in the Toastmasters fraternity of Jubail.
