    A learning management system is a software application used to administrate, document, track, report and deliver of technological educational materials in e-learning environments.
  • What is Blackboard?

    Blackboard is a learning management system that allows instructors and students a like the opportunity to interact without physically entering a classroom.

    Blackboard enables instructors to create new content in their course or they may choose to have it migrated from a previous semester. Blackboard offers many online tools for interaction between students and faculty. It allows for online chats, an internal course emailing system, and threaded discussion board. Blackboard offers separate areas within the course for groups to interact.

    Blackboard also has the capability to offer timed and randomized tests that are linked to the course grade book. In addition to this feature a teacher could create a survey and list assignments for students to upload.
