Objectives
This specialization
is designed to
respond to the need
for technical
support personnel in
the field of
information
Technology. It
integrates the
technical
requirements of
computer hardware
and networking.
Students will
receive hands-on
training in the
installation,
troubleshooting,
maintenance, repair,
and administration
of desktop computers
and local area
networks.
After
completing the last
two quarters, the
students will have
the abilities to
install, operate and
troubleshoot more
complex,
medium-sized routed
and switched
networks, which
features configuring
IP addressing and
authentication, as
well as establish
and troubleshoot
connections to
service providers
over a Wide Area
Network. |
Summary of skills

give students the
right approach of
doing their job, so
they can work on
computers with
proper procedures
that reflect sound
knowledge of how
computer works. Our
team is comprised of
highly skilled and
experienced
instructors who have
been working in the
IT industry.
Upon successful
completion of the
first two quarters
the students will
have the abilities
to install, operate
and troubleshoot a
small branch
network, which
features basic
network security - a
requirement for most
entry-level
networking support
positions such as
Entry Level Help
Desk Technician and
Entry Level
Technical Support
roles.
